Hoist and set a 35,000-lbs emergency generator

The contractors working at one of New York’s phone company buildings relied on GTI to place this indoor generator into the 10th floor space. Using a 300-ton mobile crane, GTI lifted the unit and floated it almost effortlessly through the side of the building. Being careful not to allow the bottom of the unit to come in contact with floor at any time, the generator was positioned over the pad and set level on its’ vibration eliminators.
