Project Scope:

Receive, store, deliver, and set two (2) new centrifugal chiller units to a hospital’s mechanical equipment room.

GTI easily handles the delivery and setting of two (2) 20-ton chillers. Securing New York City street occupancy permits for the placement of this 100-ton capacity mobile crane, we were able to unload the units and drift them through an opening in the building. By laying steel plates along the rigging path, the loads were distributed evenly and within the allowable design live load of the floor slab. After skating them down the corridor, they were placed neatly on their concrete pads.
