Project Scope:

The area chosen for this wireless carrier's cell site was only meters from active commuter railroad tracks in raw land conditions. GTI coordinated with the railroad for approval to operate the crane on their right of way and in such close proximity to the tracks, while taking all the necessary precautions to ensure the safest possible conditions were provided. The 15-ton payload was hoisted and set on the concrete foundation using a Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1 mobile hydraulic crane with 50,000-lbs of counterweight.
